To all the educators, teachers, educational support staff across all learning environments, as you start or return to your profession next week and in the weeks following, I say THANK YOU!
You may be embarking on this new school and academic year with some trepidation, anticipation, excitement or sense of ‘here we go again’? But please bear in mind you do a wonderful job and have significant influence over the lives of many and our future generations of decision makers, in homes, businesses and communities of all kinds.
Society is indebted to you for your dedication to a vocation that shares many joys, passions, hardships and challenges. Your role in shaping a ‘rich’ life for little and bigger people, and communities, is not to be underestimated.
May it be a professionally satisfying year for you and all with whom you interact.
