2023 – Let’s make it count professionally, for now and later!

Refreshed, reinvigorated and raring to go after a lovely break (albeit short) spent with family and friend’s interstate and locally I return to work in my 15^th year at Hender Consulting as GM of Donington (up to 2014) and Hender Careers beyond that. 

I still possess the enthusiasm and zest for the importance of our role in the employment landscape and advocate persuasively for employers to support their people in career development and pathways. In ‘the war for talent’ it has become even more mission critical.

A specialist and champion for the merit of career management, transition, professional development, coaching and outplacement services I am an enthusiast of people aspiring to and actively working towards (to use an overused expression, but often apt) being ‘the best version of themselves’ professionally and personally. Such a pursuit is a joint responsibility between individuals and their employers.

So, with the dawning of a new work year -

• what are you going to do to enhance your own professional life and those of others? 
• in what way/s can you build your own (and others’) capability, confidence and collegial spirit?
